The texture is a proper cream rather than a gel: olive-derived emulsifiers and dimethicone give it enough body to sit on dry skin overnight, while allantoin and the mucin itself work on the look of firmness and the dullness that comes with dehydration. A sensible everyday night cream for skin that is dry rather than oily.

Morning and evening, as the last step of your skincare routine.

1. After cleansing, toner and serum, take an appropriate amount with a clean spatula or fingertips.
2. Warm it briefly between the fingers and spread over the face and neck.
3. Pat gently until absorbed, working upward along the jaw and cheeks.
4. Follow with sunscreen in the morning.

For a richer overnight treatment, apply a thicker layer at night and leave it as a sleeping mask.
