SKINFOOD Rice Daily Brightening Scrub Foam is the gentlest kind of scrub — fine rice-bran particles suspended in a creamy foam, soft enough to use daily rather than the weekly-penance sort of exfoliator.

Rice bran water from Cheorwon Odae rice sits high in the formula, which is the Korean brightening tradition at its most literal: rice water has been used on skin in Korea and Japan for centuries. Skin comes out smoother and visibly less dull without the tightness a harsh scrub leaves behind.

Daily or every other day, on damp skin.

1. Squeeze a small amount into wet palms and lather lightly with lukewarm water.
2. Massage over the face in small circles for 30 seconds, using light pressure — let the particles do the work, not your hands.
3. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
4. Follow with toner and the rest of your routine.

If your skin is sensitive or you are also using acids or retinoids, drop to two or three times a week.

For external use only. Avoid the eye area. Do not use on broken or sunburned skin.
